Internet Training Workshop for Editors that opened in Dar es Salaam today that I happened to be one of the participants has given me the opportunity to learn about the fast growing usage of internet services as one of the major sources of information.

I am grateful to organizers of the workshop, namely MISA- Tanzania in collaboration with VIKES Foundation (Finnish Foundation for Media Communication and Development) and discovered the need to share this valid information with journalists will benefit the nation quite extensively.

The opening session on the first day of training under the instructor, Peik Johansson from Finnish Broadcasting Company saw well-shared exchange of information, lively debate and detailed learning material from the committed trainer with much experience on the training field.

During the five-day training workshop I expect to learn quite a lot and surely share this valid information with my colleagues at the office and help them come to grip to the qualities of modern journalism.
